Term & Conditions for car hire price of Pro Cars Woking. After you make your booking or you call Pro Cars Woking taxi company, we assume that you have the knowledge and agreed with our Terms & Conditions. Our Terms & Conditions are in accordance with Uk Legislation.
Price Alteration
The hire price is to remain the same as quoted at the time of reservation, (but we can adjust the prices for events or due to inflation and the current situation with 24-hour notice). Providing no alterations have been made to the itinerary after the reservation’s finalisation. Any alterations made to the journey itinerary subsequent to the reservation will be charged accordingly. If our Woking taxi service prices will change, will inform the customer.
CANCELLATIONS – There is no cancellation charge up to 48 hours prior to your booking time. For paid bookings, where a £10.00 charge will apply, or phone bookings paid by card, where a £10 card handling fee will apply. Providing we are notified of insufficient time,(minimum 48 hours)cancellation is free, within 24 hours and up to 2 hours, cancellation is £10.00, under 2 hours, from 50% or full price of the journey, i.e. before the driver begins his journey. Please note that a callout charge must be paid if the client fails to arrive at his/her collection point after the driver has turned up. terms & conditions
Up Front Payments – we reserve the right for an upfront payment of the booking. terms & conditions
AIRPORT TRANSFERS – NON-ARRIVAL – If following a reservation, the client fails to arrive on the flight detailed at the time of reservation, or does not answer his phone. The driver shall wait for a maximum of 1 hour starting from the flight’s landing time. Please note that a surcharge will be incurred for the additional waiting time for our airport taxis. This will be charged at our basic hourly rate of the current tariff of our Woking taxis. If after this time the client fails to arrive, NO REFUND will be issued. terms & conditions
MEET AND GREET – Meet and Greet services can cost less than you might imagine, in fact, the first 30 to 45(depending on your Meet & Greet type) minutes of waiting time is free, and the price will be £15.00. That will not include the car park of our airport transfer driver or additional waiting time after the included free waiting time. terms & conditions
DELAYS – Pro Cars Woking will monitor the flight progress based on the information available. The driver shall amend his arrival time accordingly. To ensure that a vehicle is available for any late arrivals, please inform our office. For flights delayed between 2 and 4 hours, a charge of £10.00 will be added to your bill, and a car will be sent if available any more at the new time of landing. For delays over 4 hours, a charge of £20.00 will be added to your bill. For any delays over 2 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the booking if no available cars at that new booking time.
As soon as you know of any delay to your arrival time, inform our office or your Woking taxi designated driver. terms & conditions
INSURANCE – The vehicles/ drivers of Pro Cars Woking are fully insured which includes Public Liability Insurance.
ROUTE – The route taken is at the driver’s discretion. The driver will take the best possible route. In the event of heavy traffic congestion, she/he will amend the route if necessary and endeavour to deliver passengers to their destination on time. Pro Cars Woking does not accept responsibility for any delays or missed appointments/ travel arrangements. Always allow plenty of time for your journey. terms & conditions
SPEED – The driver will always drive at a reasonable speed.
SMOKING – Pro Cars Woking operates a strict NO SMOKING policy in all its vehicles.
ALCOHOL&FOOD–The consumption of food and alcohol is forbidden in all vehicles used by ProCars without permission
CHILDREN – Pro Cars Woking CAN provide child seats for its vehicle subject to availability. If a child seat is required/provided the parent/carer of the child must fit it properly and securely. The parent/ carer is responsible for the safety of the child at all times.
COMPLAINTS – If for any reason you are unhappy with an aspect of your journey or a member of our staff, please make your comments known to the driver at the time of the incident. You will also be required to put your complaint in writing and send it to our Email to [email protected] – Detailing the date and time of the complaint, the Woking cabs driver’s details, and the nature of your complaint. Management will endeavour to rectify these matters immediately but may take further action if necessary.
WAITING TIME – The first 15 minutes of waiting time (30-45 minutes for airport transfers) is included in the hire price. Thereafter, waiting time will be charged at our basic hourly rate of £30.00 per hour or more, based on our current tariff at the time of the journey.
Congestion – Events & Banks Hollydays
On Events or Bank Hollydays, we reserve the right to charge our waiting time on congestions over the regular time of a trip. Our waiting time it will be charged by an hour, on top of the normal price of the journey, if the waiting time in a queue or congested traffic is much higher than on a regular trip. A notice about our extra charges can be given on the day of booking, but also up to 2 hours before the start of the journey, by phone, email or text message.
DISORDERLY BEHAVIOUR– Pro Car Woking reserves the right to refuse travel to any person deemed to be a nuisance or danger to its passengers or employees. If necessary, Pro Cars may request the police to assist in removing any offenders from its vehicles. NO REFUND will be issued in these circumstances, and NO COMPENSATION will be paid.
ILLEGAL MATERIAL – The carrying or use of any illegal drugs or weapons in Pro Cars Woking vehicles is forbidden.
RESPONSIBILITY –Pro Cars Woking DOES NOT accept responsibility for the following: delays due to adverse weather conditions. Theft or damage of any item belonging to any of the passengers travelling in our vehicles unless caused by a member of our staff. Delays are caused by road traffic accidents; other traffic conditions or acts of God. Passengers leaving possessions or items in the vehicle do so at their own risk.
Booking Confirmation
We send for all our bookings (exempt straight away local journeys) such as airport transfers or long journeys, confirmation emails or text messages. Without a confirmation, your booking may not be valid, or it may be cancelled. If you do not receive a written confirmation within 60 minutes after the time when you make your booking, please contact urgently our office by phone to fix that, as maybe the wrong email address or phone number.
VEHICLES -Pro Cars Woking aims to provide its clients with a vehicle group booked at all times. However, Pro Cars reserves the right to provide a similar vehicle if such vehicles are not available.
BANK HOLIDAYS, PUBLIC HOLIDAYS & UNSOCIAL HOURS – Excess charges will be incurred by Pro Cars Woking for any journey made on a public, bank holiday or during unsocial hours (22:00 – 06:00). If the date of travel falls on one of these dates, please make this is made known to our staff whilst making the reservation. The tariff will then be amended accordingly, from an extra 50% to up to 100% on top of a regular journey. Terms & Conditions.
COSTS – Any costs incurred on the journey (including parking and toll costs) will be charged at cost. If parking tickets are issued to our drivers/ vehicles as a result of passenger instructions. Then the client named on the contract will incur additional costs to cover these.
LUGGAGE – All luggage is to be placed in the luggage compartment provided. The driver must agree to any item the client wishes to take into the vehicle with them. No luggage to be taken in the car exempt hand luggage and laptops.
DOORS – Our staff will be responsible for opening the doors of vehicles when safe to do so. No doors will be opened until the vehicle has come to a complete halt.
DAMAGE – If any of our vehicles are damaged or soiled as a result of passengers’ actions, Pro Cars Woking will charge the client named on the contract for the full amount to rectify the vehicle. Also for time lost whilst the vehicle was taken out of the fleet.
GRATUITIES – Gratuities are at the client’s discretion and are not included in the price. If the client wishes to make a gratuity payment, s/he may request this be charged at their discretion.
ACCOUNT FACILITIES – All accounts will be invoiced on the first day/end of each month and, unless otherwise agreed, must be settled within 30 days of the invoice date. Failure to comply with these payment terms may incur additional fees. It also instigated additional fees in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. By lodging a valid Credit Card with Pro Cars Woking Ltd., you give authority to debit your card without prior notice for any outstanding invoice and/ or additional charges. Minimum charge for an account to be open and upfront payment every week or to be agreed upon.
PAYMENTS – Pro Cars Woking accepts all major credit and debit cards. Payment can also be via any account facility that may be active – (See Account Facilities), or online transfer. VAT is excluded from our display price list. ( will be added to the top of your bill if applicable). Payments by card to the office or online booking are free, but Car facilities may be subject to charge, as well as commercial cards which can be charged a minimum fee (five pounds).
DAILY/ HOURLY RATES – Daily/ Hourly rates, including the waiting time, are calculated at no less than £30.00 per hour for our standard fleet and £40.00 per hour for its Executive and MPV fleet. All car parking fees and/ or congestion charges are charged separately where applicable. ONLINE BOOKING – For Online taxi booking minimum rates start at £10.00. The mileage rates will be depending on the type of car or time you will request.
Be advised that night tariffs will apply for online bookings and has to be extra charged with up to 50% by our operators or drivers.
Our operators have to extra charge for bookings departing from outside our Woking area or if not agreed, we will cancel the booking with a minimum charge rate.
Night Bookings & 7 Seater Cars – will have to be booked with the office by phone, to be able to confirm that we will have an available car for your requested time. If not confirmed with one of our operators via a phone or written confirmation, the booking is not valid. If not agreed we will cancel the booking with a minimum charge rate (of £10).
PEAK TIME HOURS – terms & conditions – Between 07.00 am to 09.00 am and also between 15.00 to 18.00 Monday to Thursday and Friday 07.00 am to 09.00 am and 13.00 to 18.00, and Saturday & Sunday between 12.00 to 17.00. Due to the increased traffic we can add Peak Time charges accordingly, 25% extra charges or at the rate of £30.00 per extra hour for a saloon car or more depending on your car type and time of travel. By our terms & conditions, these charges will be applied over the average regular time of travel. (by the discretion of operators or drivers ) If the traffic is or will be higher than the regular average time on these particular hours. The customers will be informed before starting the trip about our terms & conditions if applicable. That will apply to the regular local taxis Woking and to the Woking Airport Taxis. PROMOTIONS WOKING TAXI
Our promotion will be available at certain times, days or seasons. Offer can be withdrawn at the company’s discretion.
Our “PRICE STARTING FROM” is a Happy Hour tariff on Wednesday from 11.00 to 12.00. A £5.00 discount will be offered for any dual-return journey paid upfront for an airport transfer, for a regular saloon car only. T&C apply.
COMPLIMENTARY DRINKS & SNACKS – By our terms & conditions, all customers are fully responsible for the consequences of consuming any of the free drinks and snacks that we provide in our vehicles. If any special conditions or illnesses, these are the customer’s full responsibility if they consume any of these products.
