Gatwick Airport Drop-Off Charges of £5.00 will start from 8 March 2021, as a plan of recovery for the pandemic and to keep jobs. So if you want to travel to Gatwick Airport you will have to pay an extra £5.00 fee, for only for 1-10 minutes quick drop off, with £1 for each additional minute up to 20 minutes, and a maximum charge of £25 and the maximum length of stay 30 mins.
But unfortunately, Gatwick Airport is not the only one to start extra charges in the near future. Heathrow Airport drop-off charges may start later this year as officials are considering that also from the end of 2021.
Pro Cars Woking, for instance, charges from Woking to Gatwick £55.00, but from now will have to add an extra for Gatwick Airport drop-off £5.00 to the total charges. Also, an extra £5.00 for the taxi journey from Woking to Heathrow Airport may be added later this year. As an airport transfer company, Pro Cars Woking will have to charge more for the airport journeys even if we don’t want to do that during this hard circumstance already.
We can’t comment on the airport’s measures for the pandemic recovery plan, but we can ask the public if that is the best decision to be made?
We can only hope that all this economical situation will start to get better soon and our economy to get back on track. We all need that as well as the big corporation, maybe even more than they do at this point on time.
