Gatwick Airport Drop-Off Charges of £5.00 24H & will start from 8 March 2021. This is a plan of recovery from the pandemic and to keep jobs. So if you want to travel to Gatwick Airport, you must pay an extra £5.00 fee. For only 1-10 minutes, quick drop off, with £1 for each additional minute up to 20 minutes. Also a maximum charge of £25 and the maximum length of stay 30 mins.

Sadly not only for a taxi to Gatwick will have to pay to drop off charges. Also, for a taxi to Heathrow from 1st November 2021.  Heathrow Airport is getting a Drop Off Charge of £5.00 for all cars starting next month. As a Woking taxi company, we do not want to increase the prices, but this is the circumstance. So from now on a taxi to Heathrow Airport will cost an extra £5.00 on top of our normal price. But unfortunately, Gatwick Airport is not the only one to start extra charges in the near future. Heathrow Airport drop-off charges may begin later this year as officials are considering that also from the end of 2021. So even if our prices remain the same for Woking to Heathrow taxis, you must pay more for your journey. Starting with November 2021 will officially have £5 Heathrow Drop-Off Charges.

Booking Gatwick Airport & Heathrow Airport Taxi Journeys

Pro Cars Woking, for instance, charges from Woking to Gatwick £70.00.
But from now will have to add an extra Gatwick Airport drop-off of £5.00 to the total charges. Also, an extra £5.00 for the taxi journey from Woking to Heathrow Airport may be added later this year. We can’t comment on the airport’s measures for the pandemic recovery plan with the Gatwick Airport drop off charge. We can only ask the public if that is the best decision to be made.
